One of my 18 year old twin boys saved up all his spare money for six months in order to be able to buy tickets for Download Festival. I was shocked to hear the ticket cost £200 and that excludes his transport and refreshments.
The motivation behind spending so much is that my sonis an Ozzie Osborne fanatic. Since Ozzie was part of Black Sabbath, who are making a guest appearance, the ticket was my sons before the print was dry.
I was joking with my son about Black Sabbath’s performance, saying they will all be coming on stage with walking frames – they are aged. He said he wouldn’t mind he will enjoy the other rock.
I downloaded a sheet being used as a teaser. I was shocked at the names of some of these groups. Very dark and sinister, reads like a horror story.
